23A2711310, 23A-27-11310 PIN KOMATSU

Product Overview

The 23A2711310, 23A-27-11310 PIN KOMATSU is a heavy-duty structural fastening component engineered for demanding construction and mining equipment. Within Komatsu machinery, pins of this type are responsible for maintaining stable pivot connections between critical mechanical assemblies.

In large excavators and earthmoving machines, structural joints constantly endure high loads, vibration, and repetitive motion. A well-manufactured connection pin ensures that moving parts maintain alignment while allowing controlled articulation during operation. The component presented here fulfills that role with precision engineering and durable material construction.

The unit is typically installed in pivot points or linkage connections where strength and dimensional accuracy are essential. When operating under heavy loads, a reliable pin helps distribute force evenly across surrounding components, preventing premature wear and mechanical imbalance.

At 3GEN Export, we supply this Komatsu replacement component with OEM-level manufacturing standards. Through our international logistics network, customers worldwide receive their parts quickly, typically within 5 working days.

Structural Design

Precision Cylindrical Body

The component features a precision-machined cylindrical body designed to operate smoothly inside bushings and structural mounts. Smooth contact surfaces minimize friction and maintain alignment between connected machine parts.

Threaded Locking Section

One end of the unit includes a threaded fastening section that allows secure installation within machine assemblies. This threaded interface ensures that the pin remains firmly fixed during heavy equipment operation.

Reinforced Load Zone

The central section of the component is engineered to handle compressive and shear loads that occur in pivot joints. This reinforced design improves resistance to fatigue and mechanical stress.

Material Composition

Heavy equipment requires materials capable of surviving extreme working environments. The pin is manufactured using hardened alloy steel chosen for its:

• High tensile strength
• Resistance to deformation
• Long fatigue life
• Excellent wear resistance

Heat treatment processes improve surface hardness while maintaining internal toughness. This combination allows the part to absorb shocks and vibrations without cracking.

Protective finishing further improves resistance to corrosion, especially in environments containing dust, mud, or moisture.

Mechanical Role in Komatsu Equipment

Pins like this one are fundamental components within heavy machinery articulation systems. They act as structural connectors between moving assemblies.

Typical mechanical functions include:

• Acting as a pivot shaft for mechanical linkages
• Maintaining structural alignment between connected components
• Allowing controlled rotational movement
• Distributing mechanical loads across assemblies

Without properly engineered pivot pins, excavator arms and attachment systems would quickly lose alignment and suffer accelerated wear.

Typical Applications

This type of Komatsu pin is typically used in several key mechanical locations:

• Excavator boom joints
• Arm linkage systems
• Bucket hinge assemblies
• Structural pivot mounts
• Hydraulic cylinder connections

Each of these locations experiences strong dynamic loads. Because of this, durability and dimensional accuracy are critical characteristics.

Compatible Komatsu Models

Based on typical Komatsu parts catalog references, this component is used in several heavy equipment platforms, including:

• Komatsu PC200 Series
• Komatsu PC210 Series
• Komatsu PC220 Series
• Komatsu PC240 Series
• Komatsu PC300 Series
• Komatsu PC350 Series

Compatibility may vary depending on production year and machine configuration. Verification through equipment documentation is recommended.
