What is the 24174 GEAR VOLVO?

The 24174 GEAR VOLVO is a heavy-duty drive gear used inside transmission or axle assemblies where rotational force must be transferred efficiently between mechanical components. Its splined inner hub connects securely to the shaft, allowing torque to pass through without slippage.

This gear operates as a core drivetrain element responsible for:

• Power transmission stability
• Torque multiplication control
• Mechanical synchronization
• Load distribution across drivetrain systems

Without properly functioning gears, heavy machinery cannot maintain operational balance or efficient motion.

Engineering Structure of 24174 GEAR VOLVO

Precision Gear Tooth Geometry

The gear teeth are manufactured using high-accuracy machining processes that ensure:

• Smooth gear meshing
• Reduced friction and heat generation
• Quiet operation
• Improved drivetrain efficiency

The optimized tooth profile distributes mechanical load evenly across the contact surface, reducing localized stress points.

High-Strength Alloy Steel Construction

The 24174 GEAR VOLVO is produced from hardened alloy steel designed for heavy industrial applications. This construction provides:

• High tensile strength
• Resistance to deformation
• Long fatigue life
• Impact absorption capability

Heat treatment processes enhance surface hardness while maintaining internal flexibility for shock resistance.

Internal Spline Hub Design

The internal spline configuration ensures precise shaft engagement and torque transfer stability. Benefits include:

• Accurate rotational alignment
• Minimal backlash
• Secure mounting performance
• Extended component lifespan
